Pakistan vs South Africa 2nd Test: Babar-Fawad 123 runs stand saved Pakistan before heavy rain
Rawalpindi: Pakistan middle order Batsman Captain Babar Azam along with Fawad Alam led fight back with an unbeaten 123-run stand as the hosts reached 145 for 3 in before rain forced before time stumps in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat 1st, but both openers and Azhar Ali were back to pavilion with host's total score of 22.
From Proteas, Keshav Maharaj picked 2 wickets while Anrich Nortje got the other one. Meanwhile, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and Fawad Alam got together slowly but kept on steadily rebuilding the innings. Both added 123 runs to the scoreboard till tea, after which no play was possible due to rain and damp outfield.
