Lahore: The entry of lawyers' vehicles was banned in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday.
The security officer of Lahore High Court banned the entry of the lawyers' vehicles into the court, saying that no lawyer's car will be parked inside the premises of LHC.
Police deployed water cannon at GPO Chowk outside the High Court to control any situation.
On the other hand, outside the court of Justice Anwar-ul-Haq of Lahore High Court, the parties had an argument who came to appear in connection with the murder case, the police detained two persons and shifted them to the security room.
It is pertinent to note that the lawyer community protested yesterday against moving the civil court and the cases of terrorism against the lawyers and stones were also thrown at the police. Police used water cannon and tear gas to disperse the angry lawyers and several lawyers were detained.
