Sardar Saleem Haider will take oath as Governor of Punjab today at Governor House at 4:00pm


Lahore: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sardar Saleem Haider Khan will take oath as Governor of Punjab today (Friday). Former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will arrive in Lahore to participate in the swearing-in ceremony.
According to the details, the swearing-in of Saleem Haider was postponed twice due to dur to Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman being in Saudi Arabia for Umrah. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had requested the PPP leadership to postpone the swearing-in.
Sardar Saleem Haider will take oath as Governor of Punjab today at Governor House at 4:00pm. Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Shehzad Khan will take the oath to the new Governor. The preparations for the swearing in ceremony have been completed.
It is pertinent to note that PPP Chairman Peoples Party Bilawal Zardari will stay in Lahore for four days and will attend the seminar to be held in Al-hamra on Sunday as the special guest.
