Thunderstorm, rain likely in most parts of Punjab tonight
There will be rain along with wind in Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab and Nurpur Thal
Lahore: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has predicted rain with wind and thunder in various districts of Punjab from tonight (Saturday).
According to the PDMA spokesperson, the weather will remain hot and dry in most of the districts of Punjab today, however, there is a possibility of rain in most of the districts in the evening and night.
According to the spokesperson, there will be rain along with wind in Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab and Nurpur Thal.
The forecast released by PDMA stated that rain is also likely in Lahore, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Kasur, Okara and Toba Tek Singh.
On the other hand, in some parts of the country, the weather has become pleasant due to rain. While in some places, the severe heat has made it worse for the people.
Meanwhile, rain continues intermittently in various Balochistan cities including Chaman, Kozhak Top, Shelabagh, and Toba Achakzai.
While, the traffic on Quetta Chaman highway has been affected due to stormy winds in Pir Alizai forest, Qila Abdullah, Pishin and it is also raining in Mirpur, Dhirkot, Sumahni Azad Kashmir, Mansehra, but the heat continues to increase in Sindh and Punjab.
