Khyber: Pakistan-Afghan Torkham border has been closed for three days from today (Friday).
Torkham border will be closed from May 17 to 19. The border will remain closed for foot traffic for three days while the border will remain open for export, and import cargo vehicles.
Officials have said that since the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration authorities are moving their system to new offices, the border has been closed. The Pak-Afghan border will be fully operational from Monday.
