PM vows to provide affordable energy for industrial growth, export enhancement
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructs that problems faced by the industrial sector should be solved on a priority basis


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that they would ensure the supply of electricity and gas at low cost to industries for industrial development and increasing exports.
He was speaking while chairing an important meeting in Islamabad today regarding the provision of facilities to the industrial sector.
The Prime Minister instructed that problems faced by the industrial sector should be solved on a priority basis.
The Prime Minister also issued instructions to immediately formulate a strategy regarding tariff rationalization for the industrial sector.
He said provision of facilities to industries is the priority of the government. He said all possible efforts and measures will be taken to promote industries and utilize the productive potential in the country.
The forum was briefed regarding the rates of electricity and gas supplied to industries and domestic consumers.
