Pakistan observes mourning day to express solidarity with Iran
It is pertinent to note that Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi along with his colleagues died in a helicopter accident on Sunday
Islamabad: To express solidarity with the Iranian government and people, the federal government of Pakistan has announced Tuesday as a day of mourning across the country.
The national flag will fly at half-mast across the country on Tuesday, the Cabinet Division issued a notification.
The government of Punjab and Sindh has also announced a mourning day in the provinces today.
It is pertinent to note that Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi along with his colleagues died in a helicopter accident on Sunday.
The funeral prayer of Iran's President Ibrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter accident, will be offered in Tabriz today.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had announced mourning on the death of Iranian President in an accident on Monday as well, during which the national flag was flown at half-mast.
