According to the spokesperson FBR, the sims of citizens who file the return will be restored immediately

Karachi: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has confirmed that sims of non-tax filers have been blocked.
In a statement issued by the spokesperson FBR, it has been said that about 3500 sims were blocked by two telecom companies, but the sims of citizens who file the return will be restored immediately.
Spokesperson FBR stated that a telecom company has obtained an injunction from the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
It is pertinent to note that there was an agreement between the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and telecom operators on the issue of blocking the sims of non-filers across the country. However, later the IHC, after hearing the petition filed by the mobile companies, stopped the ban on mobile phone sims.
