Mr Farooqi quoted a doctor as having said that Mr Kumar will be hopefully discharged tomorrow.
The Bollywood icon had been admitted to the hospital a few days ago after suffering a breathing problem.
Rejecting rumours of Mr Kumar’s death, his wife Saira Banu said the actor had been under treatment at the hospital, urging fans to ignore such rumours. According to Ms Banu, who is also a Bollywood celebrity, Dilip Kumar will be discharged soon.
