The development comes as the party prepares for upcoming elections, aiming to re-elect former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as president

Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to amend its party constitution and has established a five-member committee to oversee this task, sources close to the development revealed on Tuesday.
This development comes as the party prepares for upcoming elections, aiming to re-elect former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as president.
The decision for the election arises due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's responsibilities as chief executive of the state and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's commitments as the senior vice-president of PML-N.
Rana Sanaullah will serve as the committee's convener, with Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Azam Nazir Tarar, Khurram Dastgir, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, and Barrister Zafarullah Khan as members. Anusha Rehman has been appointed as the committee's secretary.
