Peshawar: Another flight carrying students stranded in Kyrgyzstan has reached Peshawar city, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details, after the tension that started in Kyrgyzstan, thousands of students were stuck there and their return to their homeland continues. A special flight carrying 290 students has arrived at Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar. Parents and relatives were present at the airport to welcome the students.
It is pertinent to note that a day ago, 346 students had returned home from Kyrgyzstan through two flights. A special flight landed at New Islamabad International Airport with 171 students, where Senator Musadik Malik welcomed the students. A special desk at the airport and transportation for students were arranged.
The second flight carrying 175 students from Bishkek landed at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport where Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar welcomed the returning students. Rejecting the government's claim of free repatriation, the students said that each student had paid Rs90,000 to Rs92,000 as travel expenses.
