Rawalpindi: The funeral prayer of Captain Hussain Jahangir Shaheed, age; 25 years, resident of District Rahim Yar Khan and Havaldar Shafiqullah Shaheed, age; 35 years, resident of District Karak, who embraced martyrdom during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Hasan Khel area of Peshawar District was offered at Peshawar Garrison on Sunday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release, the Corps Commander Peshawar along with the Pakistan Army officers, civil authorities, public and soldiers attended the funeral prayer.
The bodies of the martyrs have been sent to their native areas where they will be buried with full military honours. “The armed forces of Pakistan are committed to eradicating terrorism alongside the nation,” the ISPR said.
