Osama Mir directly reaches out to Naqvi after being dropped from T20 World Cup squad
The latest reports say that the move displeased the selectors and senior team management, leading to no NOCs being issued for league participation.

Lahore: Spinner Osama Mir on Thursday reportedly reached out directly to PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi after being excluded from the T20 World Cup squad.
The move displeased the selectors and senior team management, leading to no NOCs being issued for league participation.
Despite taking the most wickets in the PSL, Osama Mir was not selected for the T20 World Cup. In response, he messaged Chairman Naqvi to express his concerns. Following this, a video conference was organized in Ireland with all selectors and Osama Mir in attendance.
During the conference, Osama Mir reiterated his performance credentials, but the selectors provided feedback on his overall performance. Subsequently, Osama sought permission to play in a league in England, which was initially granted.
However, despite traveling to England, Osama Mir has not yet received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to participate in the T20 Blast. The PCB cited the limit of two leagues per cycle as the reason, noting that Osama Mir had already participated in two leagues between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024.
