PIA spokesperson said that after the aircraft was checked, the high-temperature warning was found to be false and the flight was diverted to Jeddah


Islamabad: The Hajj flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made an emergency landing at Riyadh Airport due to high temperature warning.
A passenger travelling via PIA for Hajj said that an explosion was heard in the plane during the flight. The plane was diverted from Jeddah and landed at Riyadh airport and after the emergency landing, all the passengers were taken off the plane and transferred to the lounge.
According to the PIA spokesperson, the Hajj flight of PIA departed from Karachi to Jeddah at 10:00pm. During the flight, there was a warning of high temperature in the cargo cabin of the aircraft, after which the flight was diverted from Jeddah and landed at Riyadh Airport.
PIA spokesperson said that after the aircraft was checked, the high-temperature warning was found to be false and the flight was diverted to Jeddah.
