Sources said that NAB has prepared 13 questions for investigation of Khaqan Murtaza

Lahore: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Circle has started an investigation related to Walton Airport, GNN reported.
According to sources, NAB has included former Director General (DG) Khaqan Murtaza and other civil aviation officers in the investigation.
Sources said that NAB has prepared 13 questions for investigation of Khaqan Murtaza.
According to the sources, questions have been asked about closing Walton Airport Lahore and giving it for commercial activities.
It is also reported that NAB Lahore has also contacted the Aircraft Owners and Operators Association and requested help in the investigation.
NAB Lahore has also sent a questionnaire containing 13 questions to the Aircraft Owners and Operators Association.
It is pertinent to note that in May 2021, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued orders to close the Walton Airport and directed the flying clubs at the airport to ground all aircraft.
Notably, the airport was closed during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and Central Business District (CBD) project was initiated.
