Islamabad: Presenting the budgetary proposals, Finance Minister said inflation is expected to remain 12 percent and budget deficit 5.9 percent of GDP.
He said that 9,775 billion rupees have been earmarked for interest payment.
Muhammad Aurangzeb said 1,400 billion rupees have been earmarked for Public Sector Development Programme 2024-25.
He said an additional one hundred billion rupees have been allocated for public-private partnership projects.
He added that 2,122 billion rupees will be provided for defence requirement.
