Budget FY25 is 'poisonous', dictated by IMF, alleges PTI
Party says salaried class “suffocated" by amending tax slabs
Islamabad: The Finance Bill 2025 presented by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led government in the National Assembly is "poisonous budget" and a "bundle of contradictions", the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said on Wednesday.
In a statement, a PTI spokesperson alleged that the federal budget for FY2024-25 was presented "against the nation, employment and economic development".
The spokesman also blamed the Shehbaz government for having no control on finalising the budgetary proposals which were "actually dictated" by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
