In his reaction to Imran Riaz's video, Shahid Afridi wrote a caption that political leaders are in jail today because of such wet partridges and advisers

Lahore: The former captain of the national cricket team, Shahid Afridi, responded to the accusations leveled against him by journalist Imran Riaz on social media.
Shahid Afridi posted a video of journalist Imran Riaz on his X account in which he is saying that Shaheen Shah Afridi is the best bowler in the world and he is improving his batting also.
Imran Riaz stated: “Until you clean the team from Shahid Afridi's politics, the team will not go forward. Whenever he come near the team, pick him up and throw him away”. If he stays near and enter politics into it, the game will be destroyed. The sooner this team is saved from Shahid Afridi's politics, the better.
The journalist added that these players are afraid of him (Shahid Afridi) that his lobby is very strong and he has many connections but I am not afraid of that. I speak frankly that Shahid's dirty politics will sink Shaheen's cricket.
In his reaction to Imran Riaz's video, Shahid Afridi wrote a caption that political leaders are in jail today because of such wet partridges and advisers. If they had better people around them, the situation would have been different today.
The former cricketer stated that it will be difficult to create YouTube content in the current situation, but it does not mean that lies should be presented as truth and truth as lies.
Afridi added: “This is my final response to the false propaganda because you have to earn dollars on YouTube by telling lies and using my name repeatedly while I take care of the charity work done by my foundation. I do not enough time to keep replying to every troll”.
