Islamabad: Several parts of Pakistan received first pre-Monsoon rain Sunday after a long drought spell across the country bringing a respite from heat wave.

According to Met office, more rain-wind and thundershower is expected in upper and central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Kashmir in next 12 hours. Isolated heavy falls and hailstorm are also likely during the period.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.
