India had set 206-run target for Australia against loss of five wickets but they failed to chase it at Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium

Gros Islet: India on Monday beat Australia by 24 runs in a thrilling match of Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and invited Indian captain Rohit Sharma to bat first. India, by batting first, scored 205 for five. Rohit Sharma displayed an amazing performance as he scored 92 off 41 balls.
For Australia, Travis Head stayed on the crease and he scored 76 off 43 balls but his struggle could not benefit his side as the Kangroes continued to lose wickets after him. Australian could score 181 for seven in 20 Overs.
The crucial Super 8 stage match of the T20 World Cup is being held at Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium.
India had remained unbeaten in this tournament while Australia must win this match to reach the semi-finals after their loss to Afghanistan.
