T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final: England win toss, opt to field first against India

(Web Desk): England has won the toss and opted to field first against India in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 being played at Providence Stadium, Guyana, today.
England captain Jos Buttler defended his decision of bowling first by saying with rain around, it could be an advantage.
Both teams are going with the same playing XIs from their last match.
Earlier, South Africa qualified for the final of the mega event, beating Afghanistan by nine wickets at Tarouba today. The final of the event will be played on Saturday.
