Seasoned Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha hospitalised in Mumbai

(Web Desk): Seasoned Bollywood actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday over a viral fever. Shatrughan is the father of actor Sonakshi Sinha.

The Hindustan Times reported that his son, Luv Sinha, clarified that contrary to speculation, Shatrunghan had not undergone any surgery. He was admitted for a viral fever and was in a frail condition. He is also undergoing his annual medical tests at the same time.

Luv, while thanking well-wishers for their support, condemned the fake news of his father’s surgery and asked them to circumvent “unverified news”.

Sinha has been hospitalised five days after his daughter Sonakshi’s marriage to Zaheer Iqbal.
