He said that 11 judges of the Supreme Court gave a decision in favor of PTI


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Friday termed the Supreme Court's decision regarding the reserved seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) as historic.
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said that today is a happy day for millions of people and democratic forces. The decision of the Supreme Court will be remembered in history.
He said that 11 judges of the Supreme Court gave a decision in favor of PTI. The way to amend the constitution has been blocked, we want to proceed according to the constitution and the law. One should get its right.
Regarding the decision, PTI leader Shibli Faraz said that he pays tribute to the courts, the knowledge of justice has been raised by the decision.
PTI leader Salman Akram Raja stated that today is a great day in the history of Pakistan. The powerful and the oppressive wanted to take away our rights and distribute the seats to others as booty. Today's decision has stopped the decision to undermine the constitution.
It is pertinent to note that the 13-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa had reserved the decision of the case related to the reserved seats of the SIC.
The larger bench included Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Athar Minullah, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Shahid Waheed, and Justice Azhar Hasan Rizvi.
Apart from this, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Jamal Mandukhel, Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Irfan Saadat, Justice Naeem Afghan and Justice Aminuddin were also part of the bench.
