Quetta: One person was killed and another was injured in an explosion near a vehicle in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to rescue officials, the explosion occurred near the Western Bypass in Akhtarabad area of Quetta.
As soon as the explosion was reported, the police and other law enforcement officials and rescue officials reached the spot. A heavy contingent of police, bomb disposal squad and FC reached the spot, collected evidence and started the investigation.
Rescue officials stated that the dead person and the injured have been shifted to the hospital.
