Administration says it’s due to their commitment and better facilities at airport


Sialkot: The Sialkot International Airport (SIA) has exported over 4,840 metric tons of goods during last six months.
The bordering city Sialkot is renowned for its sports goods, surgical instruments, leather products, and textiles, has successfully leveraged the airport's state-of-the-art infrastructure to expand its reach in global markets.
SIA spokesman Umair Khan said in a statement that this milestone was a testament to the airport’s growing role in facilitating international trade and supporting the regional economic development.
“This significant volume of exports underscores the airport’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable logistics services,” he said and added that the airport’s ongoing efforts to enhance cargo handling capabilities, streamline customs procedures, and ensure timely deliveries have been pivotal in achieving this milestone.
SIA Chairman Hassan Ali Bhatti stated in his message that with a dedicated team and advanced facilities, Sialkot International Airport continues to support local businesses in meeting international demand. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, He said that the Sialkot International Airport plays a crucial role in connecting the region to the world.
