Karachi: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has ordered to retrieve all state land from encroachers across Sindh.

According to details, the apex court heard a case regarding computerizing of land record at its Karachi registry.
During the proceedings, the bench asked a senior member of Board of Revenue (BOR) about non-digitalization of record.
The court was informed that record of all districts of Sindh except Thatta has been gathered to which court directed BOR official to digitalize the record in three months.
“No further extension will be granted and you will be held accountable if court orders are not implemented and followed,” court told the BOR official.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed remarked that thousands of disputes are erupting because there are several issues with allotment of land.
Later court, while ordering relevant authorities to retrieve state land from encroachers, directed to computerize all land record within three months.
