‘Second wave’; Pakistan reports decline in coronavirus deaths
Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 28 coronavirus deaths and 1,286 new positive cases in one day.
According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 1,286 cases of coronavirus were reported while 28 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 11,914.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 553,128.
As many as 508,700 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,908 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of coronavirus patients has reached 160,162 with 4,854 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infection has surged to 250,043 in the province, whereas the province has reported 4,066 deaths.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 68,180, while the death toll has surged to 1,948 in KPK.
Balochistan
There are 18,849 confirmed cases while 196 patients died of the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 9,168 coronavirus cases in AJK while the death toll has reached 270. On the other hand, there are 4,915 cases in GB with 102 deaths.
Islamabad
There are 41,819 cases in the capital city while 478 people have lost their lives.
