Pakistan Army saves three foreign climbers at K2

Skardu: The Pakistan Army successfully rescued three foreign mountaineers who got stranded while attempting to climb K2, the world's second-highest peak.

The climbers, from the Netherlands, Singapore, and Ecuador, aimed to conquer K2, known for its treacherous conditions and high fatality rate among the world's tallest mountains.

After the rescue, the army provided immediate medical aid and warmth to the grateful climbers, who were thankful for being brought to safety.

Pakistan is a popular destination for adventurers, hosting five of the world's 14 peaks over 8,000 meters. However, the challenging conditions sometimes lead to dangerous situations for mountaineers.
