Haris Rauf denied news circulating on social media about birth of his child and requested to stop spreading fake news
Lahore: Pakistan cricket team's famous fast bowler Haris Rauf opened up on the news circulating about the baby born to him.
The player released a denial message while sharing the story on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram.
Haris Rauf denied the news circulating on social media about the birth of his child and requested to stop spreading fake news.
He wrote in his message: “The news regarding the birth of my child is false. Please avoid spreading and trusting fake news”.
Any information regarding my personal life originating from a non-official account is mere rumor, stated the fast bowler.
It is pertinent to note that a post by Ehtisham Siddiqui—who shares news related to cricket on the social networking website X—went viral on Instagram, in which the birth of a new baby at Haris Rauf's house was announced along with his picture which spread like wildfire on social media.
As soon as the news about the birth of a son at Haris Rauf's house circulated on social media, a wave of happiness spread among his fans and the series of congratulations also started.
Haris Rauf and his long-time friend Muzna Masood Malik got married in December 2022 while their wedding ceremony took place in July 2023.
