Gas supply to be suspended in Karachi on Sunday
Gas supply will be halted in various areas from 5:00am on Sunday to 5:00am on Monday
Karachi: The schedule of gas shutdown in different areas of Karachi on Sunday was released.
In a statement issued by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), it is stated that 31 kilometers of gas pipeline will be connected to the system due to which gas supply will be halted in various areas from 5:00am on Sunday to 5:00am on Monday.
The statement said that gas will be cut off in all sectors of Sarjani Town, North Karachi, and Mangho Peer. All blocks of Qasba Colony, Orangi Town, and North Nazimabad will also be affected.
According to Sui Southern, FB area, Gulberg, Buffer zone, Site Industrial Area, Baldia, and Maripur will also be affected. While gas supply will remain suspended in Gulshan Mimar, Ahsanabad, Site Super Highway, and surrounding areas.
It is pertinent to note that gas supply in many areas of Karachi is already badly affected by Sui Southern's stated schedule.
