It was stated in complaint that ECP has failed to fulfill responsibility of transparent elections

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) approached the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
PTI General Secretary Omar Ayub filed a complaint in the SJC through Barrister Ali Zafar, citing incidents before and after the elections.
In the petition, it was requested that an inquiry should be conducted against the Chief Election Commissioner and the members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for misconduct and if the allegations are proven, their dismissal should be recommended.
In the complaint, it was said that the ECP has failed to fulfill the responsibility of conducting transparent elections. The polling agents of PTI were thrown out during the elections. The ECP also failed to release the results as per the law. The nomination papers of PTI candidates were taken away, and PTI workers were abducted.
The complaint said that coverage of PTI was banned but the ECP did not take action. The Form-45 was not provided to media and polling agents in time.
