Govt prioritises to alleviate poverty
Minister added alleviating poverty, reducing inflation, and providing job opportunities are foremost priorities of government
Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik Saturday said the gas tariff has not been increased.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he stated the gas consumers have not been burdened this time.
The Minister added alleviating poverty, reducing inflation, and providing job opportunities to the youth are the foremost priorities of the government.
He further said that inflation is gradually coming down. The development projects are being executed especially in the backward areas to provide job opportunities.
The Minister invited the opposition parties to sit with the government to sort out the issues.
Responding to a question, Musadik Malik said that the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) will be digitised and the state-owned enterprises will be privatised.
