Islamabad: A local court in Islamabad Monday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media activist Arooba Komal after her arrest.

On behalf of PTI’s Arooba, Sardar Masroof advocate appeared in court.
The lawyer told the court that two women have already been granted bail in the same case. Arooba Komal is not even named in the First Information Report (FIR).
Later, the court granted bail to PTI social media activist Arooba Komal after her arrest.
It is pertinent to note that Arooba was sent to jail on judicial remand yesterday by duty judge Mureed Abbas. A case has been registered against Rauf Hasan, Arooba Komal, and other workers under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) ordinance.
