Pakistan to chair ACC after India
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi will be new president of Asian Cricket Council for next two years
Lahore: Pakistan will hold the chairmanship of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for the next two-year term. Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, will be the new ACC president.
The president of the Asian Cricket Council is designated on a rotation policy. Currently, the president of the ACC is Jay Shah—secretary of the Indian board—who was given a one-year extension in January this year.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi will be the new president of the Asian Cricket Council for the next two years. Jay Shah will step down from the ACC presidency upon completion of his term.
In the last meeting of ACC, the issue of the presidency of the next term was discussed, the formal presidency will be announced in the meeting of ACC in October and November.
