After Friday prayer, absent funeral prayer of martyred Ismail Haniyeh will be performed

Islamabad: A day of mourning is being observed across Pakistan today (Friday) for the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
After the Friday prayer, the absent funeral prayer of martyred Ismail Haniyeh will be performed across the country.
Yesterday, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a consultation meeting was held between the government and the allied parties on the growing atrocities of Israel on the innocent Palestinians, in which the participants jointly expressed their anger and outrage over the ongoing Israeli cruelty on the innocent people in Palestine for nine months.
In the meeting, it was decided to perform the absent funeral prayer of Haniyeh in the whole country after the Friday prayer and it was also decided to present a special resolution in the Parliament to express full solidarity with Palestine.
According to the statement issued, the leaders and senior representatives of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Muslim League Zia, and National Party participated in the meeting.
The participants in the meeting strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities and expressed full solidarity with the innocent Palestinian brothers and sisters. They expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, in Tehran.
They agreed that this incident is a deliberate conspiracy to stop the ongoing persecution of Palestinians and sabotage efforts to establish peace in the region. Such incidents destroy the peace of the world and create more tension in the region.
Prime Minister described the ongoing Israeli state oppression in Palestine as a tragedy for the Muslim Ummah and strongly demanded in the meeting that immediate access to humanitarian assistance should be ensured for the innocent Palestinians.
