JUI-F chief called for the liberation of Al Aqsa mosque in his meeting

Doha: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday called on Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal in Doha to condole over the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.
JUI-F chief called for the liberation of Al Aqsa mosque in his meeting and paid tribute to recently slain Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh.
According to the reports, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that protest demonstrations were held across Pakistan over the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh. He said that resolutions were moved in Pakistan’s assemblies to condemn the brutalities of Israeli forces in Gaza.
“The blood of Ismail Haniyeh will not go waste. The Palestinian cause will be further strengthened with his martyrdom,” Fazl said.
He added that it is obligatory for every Muslim to play his role for the liberty of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli forces.
“The JUI-F and entire Pakistani nation stand firmly with the people of Palestine,” he said.
The killing of Haniyeh has drawn fears of direct conflict between Iran and its arch-enemy Israel in a region shaken by Israel's war in Gaza and a worsening conflict in Lebanon.
Iran and Hamas have accused Israel of carrying out the strike that killed Haniyeh hours after he attended the inauguration of Iran's new president.
