Islamabad: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Tuesday approved the bail petition of PTI Information Secretary Raoof Hasan in a terror financing case.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra approved the PTI politician's bail petition against surety bonds worth Rs200,000.
Hasan was named in the case in light of the statement of co-accused PTI International Media Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua for his alleged role in providing financial support to terrorists.
On August 3, the court had dismissed the bail plea of Janjua.
