Turbat: A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom after terrorists targeted and attacked troops near Turbat Airport on Wednesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

The suspects used small arms to attack soldiers. “As a result of this cowardly act by the miscreants, a brave soldier, Naik Aqeel Abbas, resident of village Mehro Peelo, District Chakwal embraced shahadat (martyrdom)”.
Soon after the incident a large scale area sanitization operation was launched by the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South to hunt the terrorists.
The ISPR statement further said: “Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by anti-state forces cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. Security forces are determined to neutralize their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.”
