Federal government declared Independence Day on Wednesday, August 14

Islamabad: A public holiday has been declared across the country on the occasion of Independence Day.
The federal government has declared Independence Day on Wednesday, August 14 as a public holiday across Pakistan.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on August 14.
There will also be a public holiday in all government offices and educational institutions across the country.
