PM to celebrate World Youth Day on Aug 12
National Youth Policy will also be announced in this regard
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is excited about Arshad Nadeem winning the gold medal in the Paris Olympics and has decided to celebrate World Youth Day on August 12 enthusiastically.
According to media reports, the National Youth Policy will also be announced in this regard. Rana Mashhood, in charge of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, was entrusted with the responsibility for the unique event.
It is also reported that Olympian gold medalist Arshad Nadeem is also expected to participate in the special event. Domestic and foreign investment companies will also set up stalls for job offers to athletes and youth.
It is pertinent to note that a day ago in Paris Olympics 2024, Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan not only won the gold medal by throwing 92.97 meters, but also set a new Olympic record.
This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that an athlete from Pakistan has won an individual gold medal in the Olympic Games.
