Women teachers in government schools will have two weekly offs and their school leaving hours will also be changed
Lahore: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, considering the difficulties of female teachers, changed the working hours and announced two holidays in a week for them.
Punjab Education Minister said that after the summer vacation, women teachers in government schools will have two weekly offs and their school leaving hours will also be changed.
According to the Minister of Education, after the summer vacation, female teachers in public schools will perform their duties till 2:30pm instead of 3:00pm. While they will also have a holiday on Saturdays. This decision has been taken considering the difficulties faced by female teachers.
He stated that the leave time of female teachers has been changed because they have to take care of the household, therefore, a notification in this regard will be issued soon.
