Bachchan gets teary-eyed on comeback in 'Kon Banega Crorepati'
81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan is going to host season 16 of Kon Banega Crorepati
Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, who is called the emperor of acting in Bollywood, became emotional on the sets of the popular Indian game show 'Kon Banega Crorepati'.
According to Indian media, 81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan is going to host the season 16 of Kon Banega Crorepati and the show started this week.
He became quite emotional as he returned to host the television game show, the promo of which was released by Bharti TV, in which he gave a heartwarming speech welcoming the audience and the contestants, in which he said, “I have no words to thank my fans”.
Amitabh said today a new season is starting but ‘I am at a loss for words and that is because there are no words enough to thank you for your love’.
As the crew of the show gave him a standing ovation, Amitabh Bachchan got teary-eyed and said: “I can't thank you enough because it was people's prayers that made Kon Banega Crorepati a huge success”.
He further said that he salute the people of the country for giving new life to the show because it was because of them that the show was successful.
