Japanese Minister of State assured to help Pakistan in getting funding from the World Bank
Islamabad: A meeting of Asian Parliamentarians' Forum on Population and Development, held in Islamabad with the cooperation of Special Investment Facilitation Council, has issued Islamabad Declaration.
According to this declaration, the Japanese Minister of State offered funding three projects related to Pakistan's climate change.
The Japanese Minister of State also assured to help Pakistan in getting funding from the World Bank to deal with disasters due to climate change.
The Forum of Asian Parliamentarians on Population and Development expressed willingness to give Pakistan a seat on its Executive Council. This announcement is a manifestation of SIFC's efforts to promote Pakistan's image at the global level.
