Two-member bench of Supreme Court will hear the case on August 19


Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan fixed the alleged audio leak case related to Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi and Najam-ul-Saqib for hearing.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Aminuddin comprising Justice Naeem Akhtar of the Supreme Court will hear the case on August 19.
It is pertinent to note that on June 25 the federal government challenged the decision of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the Supreme Court regarding the audio leaks of the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and the son of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, Najam.
The position taken in the application was Najam-ul-Saqib's application was against the summoning of the parliamentary committee, which was resolved. The IHC is proceeding beyond the points of the ineffective application.
