During the mobile phone forensics of PTI workers, contacts with foreign personalities have been revealed


Islamabad: During the raid on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) media division, the evidence of party spokesperson Raoof Hassan's links with foreign personalities came to light, GNN reported.
According to sources, during the mobile phone forensics of PTI workers, contacts with foreign personalities have been revealed. Raoof Hassan and a journalist of the international journal ‘Intercept’ Ryan Grim were in contact through WhatsApp.
The sources said that Raoof and Ryan had a proper contact in January 2024. The journalist asked Rauf Hassan on June 8 to confirm the content written by PTI founder on May 15. The articles against Pakistan and state institutions were written in the same period.
Sources further said that it has also been revealed that Raoof Hasan invited Ryan Grim to attend the virtual meeting on January 21. On August 9, 2023 Ryan wrote an article based on Cypher called ‘ Secret Pakistan Cable Document, US pressure to remove Imran Khan’ and propagated against Pakistan and state institutions.
Furthermore, other documents written by the journalist regarding state institutions include; the ‘Secret Pakistan document undermines the espionage case against Imran Khan’ on December 18, 2023 and ‘Historic turnout in Pakistan is swamping the military’s efforts to rig the elections’ on February 9, 2024.
It has also been revealed by the sources that the international journalist Ryan has written various articles in favour of the political party in recent times.
