Biden does not want Trump to get intelligence briefings due to “erratic behavior”
Washington DC: US President Joe Biden does not want former President Donald Trump to receive intelligence briefings, a privilege most former American heads-of-state have received.

In an interview with CBS News, Biden said Trump was “unfit to be president” while citing his “erratic behavior” as the reason for preventing him access to classified information.
Biden said in the interview, “I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings. What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”
In the same interview, Biden was asked how he would vote in the impeachment trial against Donald Trump, for inciting mobs to attack the Capitol building on January 6, but the President declined to comment, stating that he is instead focused on passing coronavirus relief funds through congress.
“Look, I ran like hell to defeat him because I thought he was unfit to be president. I’ve watched what everybody else watched, what happened when that crew invaded the United States Congress. But I’m not in the Senate now. I’ll let the Senate make that decision,” he said.
