Peshawar: The district administration of Peshawar has increased the price of bread by Rs5.
In the announcement issued by Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, it has been stated that the price of 125 grams of bread in the city has been fixed at Rs20. Earlier, 120 grams of bread was available at Rs15.
According to the announcement, the new prices were determined on the recommendation of the Price Review Committee, and the new prices were implemented immediately in Peshawar district.
On the other hand, bakers say that the 80kg bag of flour has increased from 7,000 to 8,900 rupees. Even with the new prices of bread, they will face lose.
