Karachi: At least 20 passengers suffered multiple injuries after a speeding bus overturned after skidding and colliding with a trailer on Super Highway near the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) City on Saturday, witnesses and rescuers said.
Police said the bus carrying 46 passengers was heading to Karachi from Rahim Yar Khan when the bus driver lost control over the steering wheel owing to slipping during rain and hit the trailer before turning siding down.
Ambulances rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. The condition of all passengers is stated to be out of danger.
