Aamir Jamal released from Test squad against Bangladesh
Aamir is recovering from a back injury that he sustained while playing county cricket this year
Islamabad: Right-arm fast bowler Aamir Jamal has been released from the Test squad ahead of the series against Bangladesh. Aamir, who was earlier included in the squad subject to fitness clearance, has been advised to work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
Aamir is recovering from a back injury that he sustained while playing county cricket this year.
The first Test match between Bangladesh and hosts Pakistan will commence on 21 August, while the second match will be played on August 30 and both these matches will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
It is pertinent to note that Kamran Ghulam and Abrar Ahmed have already been released and will play for Pakistan Shaheens in the four-day match against Bangladesh A from August 20 to 23.

Shan Masood (c), Saud Shakeel (vc), Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk) and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
