Islamabad: The administration of Islamabad allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally on September 8 with strict conditions.
According to the details, the District Magistrate Islamabad issued a notification with 40 instructions.
According to the notification, the Islamabad administration canceled the NOC of August 22 due to protests by religious parties, and on September 8, the administration will provide security for the rally.
It stated that the people holding the rally shall not affect the fundamental rights of any citizen. They shall assemble at 4:00pm and end the gathering at 7:00pm. It shall be the duty of the rally management to disperse the workers after the gathering.
According to the notification, workers will not be allowed to sit in the assembly hall on September 8.
It is pertinent to note that the PTI had postponed the rally to be held in Islamabad today.
Yesterday, the administration of Islamabad had decided not to allow PTI to hold a rally in the federal capital, which they refused to accept and had announced to hold a rally at Tarnol Chowk Peshawar Road today at 4:00pm.
Later, the Punjab government imposed Section 144 in the province for three days and a ban on processions, rallies, sit-ins, and protests across Punjab.
